Partner Terms

Effective 16 August 2026  ·  Last updated 16 August 2026

These are the terms of the nnabo Neighbour Partner Program. They apply to everyone we invite, they are the same for everyone, and you agree to them when you set up your partner account. They are written to be read once and understood, not to be argued about later.

1Who this is between

The programme is run by Agora Labs Limited, a company incorporated in Nigeria (RC: 9646638), of Number 5, Fola Oshibo, Lekki, Lagos State. In these terms "we" and "nnabo" mean Agora Labs Limited, and "you" means the partner.

You are not our employee. This is not a job, there are no hours, no targets and no notice period. You are an independent person we pay for a specific result, and you are responsible for your own tax on what you earn.

2Joining

The programme is by invitation. We add you, you get a text with a link, and you set up your account with the phone number on it. Setting up that account is what accepts these terms.

You need an nnabo account, which the invite creates for you if you do not already have one. Your name is what new residents see when they say who introduced them, so it needs to be the name people in your area actually know you by.

3What you earn, and when

You earn a flat fee for every neighbour you introduce who becomes genuinely active on nnabo. The current rate is shown on your dashboard, and it is the rate that was in force when the referral was made. If we change the rate later, it does not change what you have already earned.

A neighbour counts once they have become a verified resident in the app and then genuinely used nnabo on three separate days within their first two weeks. Taking part means posting, commenting, saving or sharing what neighbours put up, replying to an event, confirming an incident, and reading the feed properly.

We review qualified referrals for artificial activity before paying. Where a referral cannot be told apart from a farmed account, we will ask you about it before we decide.

Payouts go out weekly, on Fridays, to the OPay account you set on your dashboard. Anything showing as Available is included in that week's run. Keeping those details correct is your responsibility, and we cannot recover a transfer sent to a number you entered wrongly.

4How you get credited

When someone new sets up their nnabo profile, they are asked how they heard about nnabo. If they search and select your name, that referral is yours.

Three things to know:

5How we expect you to work

You are, to the people you talk to, the face of nnabo. Everything below is what that means in practice.

6What happens if that is not followed

We would rather ask a question than assume the worst, and a busy day is usually a busy day. But where something is wrong, this is what we do.

If you think a decision was wrong, write to support@nnabo.com and a person will look at it.

7What you can and cannot see

Your dashboard shows how many neighbours you referred, how many became active, and what you are owed. It does not show their names or phone numbers, and it never will. Who someone is, and that they joined nnabo, is theirs to share.

Anything you learn about a resident while introducing them to nnabo is theirs too. Do not collect, keep or pass on their details.

8Changes, and ending it

We may change these terms or the rate. Changes apply to referrals made after the change, never to ones already earned, and we will tell you before a rate changes.

You can leave whenever you like, by telling us. We will pay what you have earned in the next payout run. We may end the programme entirely, with notice, and will settle everything outstanding when we do.

9Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Please write to us first; almost everything is quicker to sort out that way.
