Why nnabo

Your neighbourhood deserves better than a 400-person group chat.

The people right around you are your fastest source of help, news and recommendations. nnabo brings them into one place.

What's inside

One app for the whole neighbourhood.

01 - THE FEED

A feed that's genuinely your street.

Not the whole internet - just the verified people around you, sorted by what actually matters today.

Why it matters

A neighbourhood runs on the people in it.

The trader who saves you a trip. The neighbour who takes in your delivery. The quiet network of small favours that makes a place feel like home - nnabo just gathers it in one place, so it's there the moment you need it.

The people who keep the street running.

Real businesses your neighbours actually vouch for - the jollof spot worth the queue, the suya by the junction, the market stall, the tailor down the road.

Made for here

Built for the way Lagos actually lives.

From the estate gate to the keke park, the market stand to the mainland bridge - nnabo speaks your neighbourhood’s language, because it’s built street by street with the people who live there.

Getting started

You're in in under two minutes.

The only rule that makes nnabo work: everyone actually lives where they say they do.

1

Prove you live there

Verify your number and drop your address. A quick location check confirms you're really on the street - no strangers, no fake accounts.

2

Join your street

We match you to your neighbourhood automatically - Akoka, Lekki Phase 1, wherever home is - and the nearby areas around it.

3

Jump in

See what's happening right now, get the alerts that matter, find the market, and say hello. Your street, finally in one place.

Trust & safety

Real neighbours. Not the whole internet.

Every account is a verified resident, every voice has a clear role, and your private details stay private. That's what makes a feed you can actually believe.

Verified residents only

Phone + address + a location check. If they're on your feed, they're on your street.

Your address stays yours

We use it to place you - never to display you. Neighbours see your area, never your door.

Anonymous when it counts

Report something sensitive without your name - still verified behind the scenes, so it's never abuse.

“Light went at 2am and I was ready to fight NEPA. Opened nnabo - IKEDC had already posted it was a transformer, back in 2 hours. First time an outage didn't come with panic.”

“The break-in alert reached me before I even got home. Eighteen neighbours had already confirmed it. I checked my gate, warned my landlord - that's the whole point.”

Questions

Good to know.

Is nnabo free?
Yes - nnabo is free for residents, forever. Creating a business storefront is free too; some optional promotion tools for businesses are paid.
How do you verify that someone lives here?
We combine a phone number, the address you provide, and a one-time location check when you join. It's enough to keep out strangers and fake accounts, without turning verification into a chore.
Will my exact address be visible to neighbours?
Never. Your address is only used to place you in the right neighbourhood. Others see your area (e.g. “Iwaya Close”) and, if you choose, your name - not your door.
Which areas is nnabo in?
We're live in Akoka and Lekki Phase 1 - with new neighbourhoods opening across Lagos every month. Not seeing yours? Join and you'll help us light it up.
Akoka and Lekki Phase 1 go live first on 17 August, with new neighbourhoods opening across Lagos after that. Not seeing yours? Tell us on the waitlist anyway. Where people are waiting is how we decide what opens next.
Is it on iPhone and Android?
Both. Grab it from the App Store or Google Play - same nnabo, same street.
Both, iPhone and Android, from day one. nnabo lands on the App Store and Google Play on 17 August. Join the waitlist and we'll text you a link the moment it's there.
How is this different from my estate WhatsApp group?
The group chat is one endless stream you can't search, with no way to know who's really a neighbour. nnabo is verified-only, organised into a feed, safety, market, groups and events - so the important things surface and stay findable.
